Queen & Commonwealth

When Elizabeth II came to the throne in 1952 she became Head of the Commonwealth and Head of State of 15 Commonwealth realms in addition to the UK. Throughout her reign, The Queen has embraced this important symbolic and unifying role and has placed considerable emphasis on her position, contributing greatly to the Commonwealth and its members.

Henley Media Group is delighted to partner with the Royal Commonwealth Society to produce two commemorative titles for Her Majesty The Queen:

Queen & Commonwealth: 90 Glorious Years

This prestigious book is published to mark HM The Queen’s 90th Birthday and the start of her 65th year as Head of the Commonwealth. The publication is a celebration of The Queen’s life, her interests and passions, and her dedication to the Commonwealth and international affairs. It features highlights of Her Majesty the Queen’s 90 years and in particular her unique position of unity and strength at the heart of the Commonwealth.

Queen & Commonwealth: Celebrating Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee

In June 2012, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her Diamond Jubilee alongside her 60 years as Head of the Commonwealth. To mark this memorable occasion, we produced a commemorative book that looked back over the past 60 years of the Queen’s life and her role as Head of the Commonwealth, and looked forward to the Commonwealth of tomorrow.

The stunning publication was edited by Robert Jobson, the award winning Royal Correspondent, and Jennie Bond, former BBC Royal Correspondent. It not only celebrated HM The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and her role as Head of the Commonwealth, but also the diversity and vitality of the Commonwealth’s member nations and the organisations that support this unique association of states.
